Hey guys, This is my new housing for the Wanhao D7. The glass plates are made of PMMA or acrylic glass. PMMA absorbs UV light and is crystal clear, so as long as you don't put the printer directly in the sun, it works and the resin is safe. There are two different versions. One is glued with silicone, which I chose. The other version has additional corners for drilling holes and mounting with screws. Weight reduction: from 5 pounds to 2 pounds Needed materials: - Silicone - Masking tape - 2x PMMA 300x203x3mm - 2x PMMA 300x197x3mm +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ To be safe, ask your local dealer for special UV-blocked PMMA.
