I needed a more versatile mount for my Logitech 910 HD webcam. To secure the camera, I remove the plate in its base as shown and attach the cam using two M2 12mm screws to the sliding mechanism. The mount fits snugly beneath the heated bed, allowing me to cut M3 threads into it if I want a more secure attachment. For added convenience, I simply slide it on when needed. Finally, an extra M4 screw and nut hold the slider in place at the desired distance from the print bed.
