Last and final version of the cooling system for the Wanhao Duplicator 6 / D6 ... and it's Monoprice equivalent. I printed it in PETg, in 1 go on the Wanhao itself. No supports needed. Design is lightweight and uses thinned top to use even less filament. Cooling efficiency is much higher due to direct channel design. Air flows over the CPU first, cools the relay and flows all over the stepper drivers. Installation Cover piece latches to the main one. I fixed it additionally by melting the edges together. You'll need a standard radial fan as on pictures (24V). Connect in place of the original fan. There is a groove for a cable - can be mounted same way as top cover. Fix it with 3 screws using the same holes as electronics; one needs to be longer than oem. Free end of fan is fixed using a self-tapping screw going into the fan body mounting hole. Additional amber skirt is a kapton tape - optional. Fan is a generic 5015 / 24V blower from a Chinese supplier.
