Another take on a drive block for the extruder of the Zortrax/Wanhao D6/Monoprice Ultimate clone machines designed for flexible filaments. Version 2 offers an extremely tight fit for the 10.8mm diameter, 38-tooth Robotdigg Filament Drive Gear 4 flat shaft specifically made for NEMA17 stepper motors (RDGFDB) and the Micro-swiss lever compatible with the Wanhao D6. The original D6 drive gear will also fit seamlessly. The Robotdigg gear features razor-sharp teeth, resulting in significantly better retraction capabilities compared to the D6 gear. This means no more slipping during the printing process. You may need to lightly sand the inner diameter for a precise fit. To enhance the print's overall appearance, drill through the filament guide and smooth out the upper entry point. I printed this design using PETG, but PLA or ABS will yield identical results with minimal effort required.
