Wanhao D6 Magnetic Door Support with Captive Magent Option
thingiverse
Here's a revised design where the bracket is split into two pieces: one for the top layer and another for the bottom layer with a hole in the middle to accommodate the magnets. This design allows for easy insertion of the magnets without having to drill or stop your printer mid-print. To assemble, simply place the magnets inside the hole and then cover them with the top piece. For added security, you can use thread forming screws or similar fasteners, such as a #4 thread forming screw suitable for a #37 drill bit (available at McMaster-Carr: 90380A106). This design revision resolves the issue of captive circular sections that made the original design flawed.
