22/11/18 - Updated the front mount so it now boasts an increased surface area. No reprinting required if you've already printed them; I simply utilized available space to eliminate see-saw motion on the front of the bed. If using an ABL, it's highly recommended that you secure the bed with solid mounts to prevent springs from upsetting carefully taken measurements. This is a crucial step I've implemented in all my printers featuring ABLs. When utilizing the M420 command to load the mesh, you'll find an option to enable 'fade,' which determines the number of layers used for fading out mesh corrections on the bed - e.g., M420 S1 <to load mesh> Z10 <10 layers to fade>. This feature will gradually phase out mesh corrections within 10 layers. The more level the bed is initially, the fewer corrections the printer makes during the fading process, resulting in better-looking first few layers. It's essential to note that this mount must be printed using ABS or a similar strong and heat-resistant material that won't warp or deform when exposed to temperatures around 100C. Print settings include: * Layer height: 0.2mm * Wall count: 2 * Infill density: 30% * Top and bottom layer count: 5 * Fan speed from layer 72 eliminates the need for supports. Important note: Please refrain from using this solid mount kit unless you're thoroughly familiar with your printer's operation and ABL functionality. While thousands of users have successfully employed these mounts, there's a risk of damaging your printer if you're not fully comprehension its purpose and mechanics.
