Wanhao D5s cooling duct
thingiverse
A new cooling duct for the Wanhao D5s! I've added the source file, so you can easily adapt it to suit your printer. I've thoroughly tested it, and it should be ready to use straight away. There are two versions - one with a restrictor for when you can't control fan speeds, and another without it for when you have full control over the fan speeds. Check out this fantastic fan on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pc-Brushless-DC-Cooling-Blower-Fan-50mm-Exhaust-Fans-50mmx15mm-5015S-12V-0-06A-/281639551624 If you're using a D5s mini, here are the retraction settings I recommend: 12mm retraction at 120mm/s. For best results, print it with 25% infill or more and a resolution of 0.15 mm or higher. I've recently updated the V9 version to improve airflow and source for the V9 printer. Simply adapt the file to suit your needs. To avoid any issues, print the cooling duct in a material that can withstand high temperatures - if you're unsure, try tying a tie around the front screw to prevent it from melting.
