All of the build platform is fully usable with this design. The hotend block will need to be properly insulated to prevent heat damage. Applying a few layers of kapton tape works great for this purpose. The PID tuning process also needs to be redone. Printed in PLA, it performs extremely well without any issues. No problems were encountered with the duct melting or deforming due to excessive heat with the fan running continuously at 100%. Has not been tested with other materials yet. Required parts / hardware: Centrifugal blower / fan: 5015 12V, 0.25A Available at: https://spool3d.ca/12v-centrifugal-fan-ball-bearing-50mm-x-50mm Additional necessary items include: Epoxy or super glue for gluing the two halves together. 4 x #6 or M3.5 self-tapping screws, 15mm long. 4 x pillar spacer standoff, 6mm long. 8 x fiber/rubber washers.
