If you've purchased an Aldi Cocoon printer or Wanhao Duplicator and want to ditch the original metal box for better access to the reset/stop buttons on the Melzi board, which is housed inside, this project might be just what you need. You can also eliminate the noisy 14V power supply or relocate it to a more convenient spot. This design is a remix of the originals, with thanks going out to the creators who contributed some of the parts. To optimize airflow and cooling, mount the Melzi board vertically, allowing for efficient chimney effect ventilation. Note: Some cables are better arranged on the side of the board rather than between connectors.
