Designed in the late '70s and early '80s following the Munich Olympic tragedy, the WA 2000 boasts a bullpup design for compactness despite standard barrel length. Weighing 0.96 kg, its quick-detachable scope mount eschews iron sights in favor of a Schmidt & Bender 2.5-10X telescopic sight. Unloaded and loaded weights are 6.95 kg and 7.35 kg respectively, while the .300 Winchester Magnum round offers unparalleled accuracy and consistency over all ranges. Its closed bolt firing mechanism features a seven-lug bolt and two-stage trigger with a pull of 1.2 to 1.4 kg. Single stack box magazines hold six rounds, each weighing 0.4 kg when loaded.
