Walther PPQ 22lr Rear Sight
thingiverse
The rear sight on my PPQ 22lr gave out within days of getting it. The stock sight is flimsy cast aluminum with a dovetail that doesn't cover the entire slot. On top of that, my firearm shoots high. This fixed rear sight addresses durability issues and accuracy concerns at the same time. There are five different height sights available to choose from. I ended up using the 5.2 rear sight paired with the stock #4 front sight. You may need a unique combination for your firearm. The sight is secured in place by a #4-40 hex nut inserted into the bottom of the sight and a #4-40 set screw (a 1/8" long set screw should be sufficient). Print the sight with the hex nut hole facing down towards the build plate, rotating the STL file ninety degrees. Use super high resolution and supports from the build plate for optimal results. I utilized tree supports in Cura, which came off easily even though they are still experimental.
