Anyone who has wrestled with a Walter drill index knows this frustration firsthand. The tiny drill bits have a nasty habit of falling off their designated spot, plummeting down into the container below. It's a tedious ordeal to disassemble the entire thing just to restore order, only for the problem to recur with maddening regularity. I've had enough of this hassle, so I set out to recreate the stop piece with one crucial improvement: added thickness that provides a more secure ledge for the bits to rest on, thereby preventing them from making a break for it.
