sketchfab
This tusk was 3D scanned with a Go!Scan 50 at the Mariners' Museum on July 10, 2018. Accession number 2003.024 comes courtesy of the Mariners' Museum, Newport News, Virginia. From the catalog description: The polished walrus tusk is an intricately engraved work of art created by hand with an image of a majestic three-masted ship-of-line. The vessel proudly flies the British flag and is "hove-to" with its anchor securely down near a picturesque pier. On the pier stand two groups of six people each, tightly coffled together in a line. To one side of each group stands a person expertly yielding a whip. Along the shore rises a long, impressive building, while three palm trees sway gently in the breeze.
