The problem we encountered was when we purchased this bed frame, it shifted our mattress upward significantly. My wife is relatively petite, so we required shorter legs. If we merely measured the existing legs, they were 12 inches long; I adjusted them down to 5 inches. Here's a link to the actual bed frame on Walmart (https://bit.ly/2qhbciz). I did discover shorter legs online that are approximately 5 inches tall as well, but with a king-size bed, I would need eight of them and at $15 each, it's a total of $120, excluding shipping costs!
