A 3-part yacht model inspired by the iconic Wallypower 118 yacht. The model is divided into three sections to optimize use of the flat surface left by the printer's bed. This flat surface transforms into the deck when the hull is inverted. I utilize this model to educate my BA (Hons) Modelmaking students on utilizing our 3D printers and emphasizing the importance of segmenting models for improved prints.
