The original kink protection on this Acer Power Supply is not sufficient for daily use. Eventually cable breaks will happen. I soldered the coaxial cable back together and put two layers of heat shrink tubing over it. - A cable tie and/or some strong tape can be used to connect the two halves. - Heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to further support the cable.
