Wallmounted screw terminal box
thingiverse
This is a custom screw terminal box designed for use with readily available screw terminals found at most hardware stores. I took issue with how standard boxes were supposed to fit these terminals, so created an alternative featuring two separate compartments to prevent short circuits. Solvespace source files are included if you need to adjust the size of the design. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer Model: Solidoodle 2 - Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: Honeycomb 30% Notes: A few mm of brim should be added during printing, as a good bed adhesion is crucial to prevent warping. ABS plastic is recommended for the enclosure due to its higher durability compared to PLA. Post-Printing Assembly: Insert screw terminals and secure them with M4 bolts, taking care that bolt heads are flush with the plastic. Mount the box on the wall using 4.2x19mm self-tapping screws, ensuring a tight fit. Secure all wiring connections before fastening the top cover with M3 bolts. CAUTION: Verify that the wall surface is non-conductive, especially when working with mains AC voltage. Consider applying sticky tape to insulate bolt heads on the back side for added safety. For enhanced water resistance, apply silicon sealant around the box and top cover edges, as well as to all holes.
