Wallfire Wireless Car Charger Goose-Neck
thingiverse
I picked up an excellent Qi Wireless Fast Charger, made by WallFire, for my car and it really holds tight to the dash. I'm extremely pleased with this product, but unfortunately, the spot where I wanted to place it slopes upwards very slightly. Apparently, it was designed to be mounted upside-down on the windshield, which isn't an ideal option for me. I struggled to get it to swivel into a horizontal position. Fortunately, I have my reliable 3d printer and some extra time, so I came up with a solution in about 20 minutes. While the design is a bit rough, it works perfectly fine! Here's how you can disassemble this charger: 1) Remove the three tiny philips screws from underneath the very sticky suction cup 2) Pop the cover off using a small flat-blade tool 3) Take out the suction cup assembly 4) Unscrew the ball-assembly with a #2 (medium) philips screwdriver You don't need to secure the goose-neck, I simply use a friction fit.
