Wallet for about 10 cards, with coin drawer
thingiverse
This wallet consists of two parts: (a) A compartment for approx. 10 cards: it's unstructured (no mechanism etc.) so you can put anything in it that roughly has the shape of a credit card. The sides of the compartment are slanted such that individual cards are somewhat easier to find in the pile. (b) A drawer for coins, bills, keys, whatever. A clip makes sure that none of the cards fall out of the wallet and that the drawer stays shut. To open the wallet, the clip is "unclicked" and then moved to the side (see picture). Building instructions: (1) Printing: Part 1 of the cards container and the coins drawer have a round elevation on their back (where the clip locks in): I recommend putting that side downwards towards the print bed so you only need support there (sort of like an extended raft). The internal structures don't need any support (for example, the drawer rails are angled in such a way that they can be printed without support). The clip prints without support. (2) Glue part 2 of the cards container onto part 1, as shown in the picture; I recommend using cyanoacrylate glue. (3) Slide the drawer on the rails and put on the clip.
