Wallace and Gromit are from the British clay animation comedy series created by Nick Park of Aardman Animations.

Wallace is a good-natured, eccentric, cheese-loving inventor and his companion Gromit is a silent yet loyal and intelligent anthropomorphic dog.

No supports are required. If you have the right filament colors, no painting is needed.

The completed model is 250mm tall after assembly. The individual figures are independent and you can print just one or the other if desired.

Enjoy!

Print instructions

Print Settings

Printer: FlashForge Creator X
Rafts: Doesn't Matter
Supports: No
Resolution: .2mm
Infill: 10%

Notes:

See notes below for helpful printing and assembly instructions

Building the model

Colors (there are no multiple printed pieces)

Important note: Even though the arms and shirt should be the same color, I just could not get a filament color that would work for me, so I ended up with the arms as a different color than the shirt.

Black:
shoes
eye_black_left
eye_black_right
gromit_nose
gromit_eyes_black
..
White:
shirt
eye_white_left
eye_white_right
gromit_eyes_white
..
Natural:
teeth_top
teeth_bottom
..
Flesh:
head
nose
ear_left
ear_right
hand_left
hand_right
..
Gold:
arm_left (This should be the same color as the shirt, however I used gold instead)
arm_right (This should be the same color as the shirt, however I used gold instead)
gromit_head
gromit_body
..
Red:
tie
..
Brown:
pants
gromit_ear_left
gromit_ear_right
gromit_tail
..
Sage Green:
vest
..
Any color (hidden part)
body_bump

Printing and assembly tips

Printing Tips:
1-No supports are required.
..
2-I used a brim on a few pieces and had no failed prints, use your discretion based on your own preference:
-gromit_ear_right, gromit_ear_left and gromit_tail all have small bases and have steep part angles. I printed them all together with one overlapping brim.
-arm_left and arm_right are also pieces with relatively small bases and larger angled parts.
-head has a smallish base.
..
Assembly tips:
-The diagrams below will help in assembling the model which is quite straightforward.
-The model is meant to be glued together.
-In case you mix up the shoes, they have the lower part of the dents facing outside.
-Glue the eye_blacks into the eye_whites and then insert the completed eyes into the heads.
-Wallace's hand simply rests above Gromit's head, there are no dents in either part for a fit and therefore there is no need to glue the two figures together.
-The teeth fit easily into the head, simply glue and insert the bottom teeth first ensuring they are all the way in and centered. Then glue in the top teeth making sure they are centered and are glued to the upper lip.
-I glued gromit's completed head to his body and after the glue dried I then glued and inserted his ears.
