Wallace and Gromit
myminifactory
Wallace and Gromit originated from a British clay animation comedy series, brought to life by Nick Park of Aardman Animations. Wallace is an eccentric, cheese-loving inventor who always has a good time, while his companion Gromit is a clever and loyal anthropomorphic dog that never says a word but always gets the job done. No special supports are required, thanks to the right filament colors - you can skip painting altogether! After assembly, your completed model will stand an impressive 250mm tall. The individual figures are fully independent, so feel free to print just one or both of them if that's what suits your fancy. Important note: Although I wanted to match the arms and shirt with the same color, I couldn't find a suitable filament, so the arms are a different hue than the shirt. No supports are required. 2. I used a brim on some pieces, but feel free to use your discretion based on your own preferences. Gromit_ear_right, gromit_ear_left, and gromit_tail all have small bases with steep part angles; print them together with an overlapping brim if you want. Arm_left and arm_right are also pieces with relatively small bases and larger angled parts; be careful when printing those. Head has a smallish base. **Assembly Tips:** The diagrams in the pictures section will help guide you through assembling the model, which is quite straightforward. The model needs to be glued together. If you mix up the shoes, remember that the lower part of the dents faces outside. Glue the eye_blacks into the eye_whites and then insert the completed eyes into the heads. Wallace's hand simply rests above Gromit's head; no dents are needed for a fit, so there's no need to glue them together. The teeth fit easily into the head - simply glue and insert the bottom teeth first, ensuring they're all the way in and centered. Then glue in the top teeth, making sure they're centered and glued to the upper lip. I glued Gromit's completed head to his body, and after it dried, I then glued and inserted his ears.
