Wall Thickness Testing on Reprap Mendel/Pronterface: A Review of Results The test revealed varying outcomes for wall thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 5mm (in increments of 0.5mm). At 0.5mm, the results were disappointing as the walls didn't appear. However, at 1.0mm, the prints were tidy and accurate, making them suitable for thin walls. As the thickness increased to 1.5mm, the prints remained neat but were slightly undersized. At 2.0mm, a gap was left in the middle of the wall. At 2.5mm, the results improved with neat and filled walls, which are ideal for higher walls. For thicknesses of 3.0mm and above, gaps were again observed in the middle of the walls. The test also faced challenges when printing at 5.0mm wall thickness with a font. As a result, Slic3r software will be utilized to conduct the test again and compare outcomes.
