Wall Thickness Test
thingiverse
I designed this as a method to evaluate the transparency of various filaments. The boxes and rings are constructed on a large scale so that you can utilize a flashlight to shine through the center and observe how much light passes through. This will test 0.2mm, 0.4mm, and 0.8mm wall thicknesses. It also tests to see how clean your printer can create straight and curved walls. You cannot use Vase Mode for this, as the towers are not connected. For those with a 0.4mm nozzle, "Extrusion width" should be set to "0.39mm". This will allow both 0.4mm and 0.8mm sets to display properly. For those with a 0.2mm nozzle, "Extrusion width" should be set to "0.19mm". This will enable the display of 0.2mm, 0.4mm, and 0.8mm sets.
