wall switch hangers
thingiverse
Needed something to hang everyday essentials like keys, dog treats, and flashlights. So, I designed a custom replacement for our 4-gang light switch cover. The design consists of two parts: a main plate and a rim that snaps into place. After several trial iterations, I managed to print a functional model that meets our needs. Although it's still far from perfect, I'm happy with the result. In the future, I plan to refine the design to make it even better. To avoid the need for complex support structures, I printed the two parts separately. This also helps elevate the rim away from the wall, which is ideal. I made the hangers a bit bulky on purpose, as this reduces the likelihood of them breaking. Fortunately, we haven't had any breakages in over a year, and they're still going strong.
