A speaker that can be wall-mounted, requiring only a few essential components. To get started, you'll need: Raspberry Pi Zero W Adafruit I2S 3W Stereo Speaker Bonnet for Raspberry Pi - Mini Kit (available at https://www.adafruit.com/product/3346) Gikfun 2" 4Ohm 3W Full Range Audio Speaker Stereo Woofer Loudspeaker for Arduino (Pack of 2pcs) EK1725, available here: http://a.co/d/c8tgeDM I was looking for a straightforward way to play text-to-speech from Home Assistant and other sounds like doorbells or hourly chimes. Mopidy caught my attention as an easy-to-use, well-documented piece of software that integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant. For more information, check out the following resources: https://docs.mopidy.com/en/latest/ext/mpd/ https://www.home-assistant.io/components/media_player.mpd/ All of the mounting holes are designed to accept standard M4 screws.
