Wall Power Supply (wall wart) Cable Ferrule
thingiverse
This was created as a friend's snapped power supply cable from his Electro Harmonix guitar pedal. They had imagined this would work with most wall wart/power bricks. Usually, these supplies are only a couple of pounds but, like most guitar pedals, the plug is reverse polarity (earth is the inner pin on the plug) so it can be quite expensive to replace. Only branded ones I could find were around £15-20. Once you've cracked open the power brick shell, I usually drill out the rubber ferrule and re-use it, but I thought this was a perfect time to try using my new 3D printer. Sorry for the bad photo; this was a quick and dirty fix but it's done the job. Long live repair-ability!
