Wall outlet spacer

I designed my first project in just 15 minutes, utilizing Microsoft's 3D builder software. The goal was to create a custom solution for extending the space between an electrical wall box and a hanging phone wall plate within a residential setting. Some paneling was obstructing the installation process, preventing me from sliding the phone into place as intended. I discovered a similar product online that served as a reference point for determining the height and width of my design. However, I needed to make one key modification – increasing its thickness. To achieve this, I simply created two rectangular guides through which screws could pass. Unfortunately, I failed to capture a photograph of the installation process. Nevertheless, the custom extension worked seamlessly in place. In an effort to improve upon this initial design, I plan to create another project that mirrors the dimensions of the wall plate itself for a more polished appearance. The specific dimensions used for this custom extension were 3.65 inches in height, 2.25 inches in width, and a depth of 0.5 inches. This design was subsequently printed using an XYZ da Vinci 1.0 AIO with PLA as the chosen material.
