In 1903, a remarkable house was constructed at Yaroslavov Val, 15-b, specifically for the esteemed family of Kyiv doctors Sikorsky and their five children. A dynamic duo resided under one roof - the father and his youngest son. Ivan Alekseevich Sikorsky, an accomplished Russian psychologist, played a pivotal role in child psychology and psychopathology as one of its founding fathers. In 1880, I.A. Sikorsky pioneered the experimental method of observing mental work in schoolchildren, thereby establishing himself as the founder of experimental pedagogy. His groundbreaking scientific contributions to psychiatry, neurology, and psychology earned him international recognition.
