A Simple Wall Mounting Solution that Lets You Display Unique Items Without Pre-existing Hooks. There are two versions available - Standard and Heavy Duty. The standard type is ideal for smaller and lighter items where a small size is essential, whereas the Heavy Duty version requires a bigger backing plate and can be used to hang larger/heavier objects. In the example picture, a souvenir Boomerang from Australia was mounted using these blocks. You can use these wall mounts to display various items that don't have standard mounting facilities. To do this, you will need regular picture hooks and high strength double-sided foam mounting tape (available at most hardware stores). After installation, you'll be able to hang the item as easily as a regular picture from the wall. You can also relocate it if required by installing new picture hooks in another location. For a small and lightweight Boomerang like this one, standard Wall Mounts are suitable. **Installation Instructions:** Using a Replicator 2, print the blocks with four shells and 50% fill for added strength. Use Raft to ensure they stick well to the build plate as they're quite small. **Installation Steps:** Get some regular picture hooks and high-strength double-sided foam mounting tape (usually available at hardware stores). Before sticking the tape on, recommend a quick wipe of alcohol to clean the flat surface of the block. This ensures better adhesion. On the block that doesn't have an arrow, stick the mounting tape. The side with an arrow indicates "up" and should be used when sliding it onto the picture hook. Close the angle of the picture hook so the blocks slide on and off easily but remain securely mounted to the wall. Take your time positioning the hooks, as you will use these points for reference later. Now attach each block over the hook without the tape. Carefully push the item to be hung against the blocks. Make sure a strong bond forms between the mounting tape and the item. To ensure the blocks are well stuck, remove the item from the wall after mounting it. It should come off easily when lifting straight up. Afterwards, press each block firmly onto the item and remount them back on the picture hooks - you're done! This process is quite straightforward despite its seemingly complex instructions. With proper care, it's no more challenging than hanging a picture normally.
