Years back, I determined to repurpose a 3/4-inch galvanized steel pipe into a shower curtain rod, only I hadn't gotten around to installing suitable wall supports. Just yesterday, the rod and shower curtain gave way, at which point I created these customized wall mounts to provide a sturdy anchor for them.
