Wall mounted wallet tray and key holder

IntroductionThis wallet and key holder was designed to fit my needs of having a reasonably sturdy wallet tray and key holder. There are a couple of variants of these floating around on thingiverse, but they all suffer from the issue that the layers from the hooks will always be in a structurally weak orientation, lest the model is covered in supports. I went through a few of them that broke the moment I put any load on them.This is why I opted to use some screw-in hooks and make the whole assembly in different pieces.  This allows for the correct orientation to be set for maximum strength.Additional materials6 3mm cup-hooksSome supergluePrint orientationThis is very important if you want a high strength product. Tray print orientationMake sure this is printed on its side such that the pin holes are vertical.Plate print orientationMake sure this is printed flat, such that the hook supports facing upwards.Pin print orientationMake sure these prints are all horizontal.AssemblyPut a bit of superglue on one end of each pin, then insert them into the tray. They probably will need a bit of force to get them in. I used the handle of a screwdriver as a “soft” hammer. Then when all the pins are glued into the tray, put some superglue on the edge of each pin and insert the tray assembly into the plate, again, you might need a bit of force to get them in.Finally, you can use a pair of pliers to screw in the cup hooks. Print settingsYou will not need supports if you have a well calibrated printer as there is only a small bridge on the pin holes your printer will need to handleI used a 30% infill on my prints Source filesI have added in the step files used to generate the meshes.
