Wall Mounted Spool Holder
prusaprinters

I didn't really see any wall-mounted spool holder designs that I liked, so I made my own!

I designed this for flexibility-- you can use basically any size dowel rod or PVC pipe in it-- I am currently using a 3/4 “ dowel rod, but It should accept at least a 1” (25mm), possibly larger.

I left 5mm holes for screws, not really sure what that works out in Imperial sizes. I think that's large enough for a #10 screw, though.

Screwing into studs or using wall anchors is STRONGLY advised. I won't take responsibility if you tear up your walls!

I printed this on a large-format CoreXY with an 0.8mm nozzle, but I would suggest if printing it on a standard MK3S+, use at least 4 walls (maybe 6), 5 top/bottom layers, and at least 20% infill. Larger layer heights, such as the 0.3mm DRAFT setting, is advised. Printed in PETG, but PLA would probably work fine with the settings advised.
