This wall-mounted spool holder requires only printed parts without the need for dowels or rods; it uses clips derived from Logan's "Spool Hanger Bracket" on Thingiverse, with an added chamfered hole for secure mounting. The bar through the spool features a flat bottom for easy printing and a rounded top for easy spinning, while its asymmetric design ensures a snug fit into the clips. Square ends prevent slipping, and the wall mount maintains correct clip pitch. A central hole allows for larger spools without longer clips, saving on filament. Use anchors or wood screws for appropriate wall mounting. Print one bar, two clips, and a plate in as-rendered orientations, with 25% infill providing adequate stiffness for holding up to 1 kg of PLA spools. The author used 0.4 mm layer height Diamond Age PLA on a Printbot LC with a heated glass bed (185°C/60°C) without encountering any issues.
