Wall mounted shaving (badger) brush holder

This design is specifically made to attach securely to a wall or cabinet door using strong double-sided tape or similar adhesive. The lip on this holder serves as a stabilizing feature, ensuring that the brush remains in place when mounted onto a door like the bathroom cabinet door. This innovative design was created as my first full project and provided an excellent learning experience with Sketchup software. It measures 45mm wide by 17mm tall by 47mm deep, making it a compact and functional piece of equipment. This design is tailored around the Escali 100% Pure Badger Shaving Brush, which has a distinctive indentation just below its head with a diameter of approximately 24mm and height of about 4mm. The tines of this holder securely grip around this indentation while using the head of the brush to provide additional support. One area for improvement is to push the brush out further from the wall by a few millimeters, as it's currently just barely touching the surface for my specific brush model. This adjustment would enhance the overall design and functionality of the holder. **Print Settings** **Printer:** Monoprice MP Select Mini 3D Printer **Rafts:** No **Supports:** No **Resolution:** 0.1mm **Infill:** 20% **Notes:** Print this design as delivered, with the flat part of the base facing down and the tines pointing upwards. I successfully printed without supports, achieving a reasonably accurate output. Supports might not provide significant benefits and could potentially create unnecessary complexity in the print process.
