Wall mounted servo arm
thingiverse
I created this to keep my laser pointer handy while entertaining my cat. The code generates unpredictable arcs and lines at varying speeds, ensuring my pet has an absolute blast in pursuit of it. If you're interested in making something similar, send me a message for the code. I strongly advise mounting it out of reach from your cat as the servos produce noise when moving, and cats tend to target objects that make noise and move. Don't repeat the same mistake I did...\r\n\r\nI adapted the base to accommodate batteries and an Arduino alongside the servo arm. The rotating platform was reinforced for added strength and easier printing, while the middle link was modified to support a smaller servo. A wall mount was also added, making it simple to install and remove the entire system.
