I created this custom solution to securely fasten my shower curtain in place on the tile walls of my bathroom, utilizing strong magnetic forces to keep it steady. A gentle breeze always caused the curtain to sway, but now it remains firmly attached due to this innovative design. First, I printed out two identical halves of the design, carefully checking their magnetic polarity against the built-in magnets on the shower curtain to ensure a perfect match. Next, I applied CA glue to seal the halves together, creating a sturdy unit that could withstand repeated exposure to water and humidity. To complete the installation, I attached these magnetic units to the tile using velcro, which provided an exceptionally strong grip; foam tape would likely offer even better adhesion, making it an excellent alternative for this application. This clever design relies on 1.26" by 1/8" thick neodymium magnets, renowned for their exceptional strength and durability.
