Wall mounted filament storage (with LEDs, Acoustic foam & a charging shelve)
thingiverse
This is just an idea, and it's quite flexible - no 3D printer required. If filament storage isn't needed, skip the drawer/cabinet and move the foam closer to the wall or use it as a normal cabinet instead. The charging station can be omitted altogether, along with the LEDs for lighting. Consider replacing acoustic foam with a material of your choice (wood, leather, mirror, art, etc.). If electrical outlets are being installed personally, exercise caution - USB outlets might be a better option (https://goo.gl/9VYhu3). If building as a drawer, a two-way travel drawer slide with double extension is necessary (i.e. https://goo.gl/6k3BV3), or two normal slides with double extension mounted to the same piece of wood each other on opposite sides (i.e. https://goo.gl/uiY1eE). A normal cabinet hinge will suffice for a cabinet design (i.e. https://goo.gl/96Vjrk).
