I loved the idea of the MK8 mini filament buffer by Steveps3, but I needed a wall-mounted mini filament buffer and didn't need a spoolholder because I have a PVC pipe rack for all my filament. So, I made a holder and made some changes to the cartridge and wheel so I could mount the wheel vertically. The complete assembly can be mounted upside down. There are 3.6 mm holes on the side that can be tapped with an M4 tap. If used, it will keep the cartridge from falling out of the holder. There are also M3 prepared holes just above the holes where a PTFE tube can be pushed in. These should also be tapped. If desired, the PTFE tube holes could be drilled and tapped to accommodate M5 or M6 pneumatic fittings for PTFE tubes. They work very well!
