This is a wall-mounted display for all your folding knives. Show off some of your collection by hanging it on the wall, so you can admire it and easily pick which knife to carry when leaving the house. It's designed to be highly customizable, allowing you to tailor it to fit the number of knives you want to display and their sizes. The design is modular, making it easy to add or remove elements as needed. Currently, there's a single top piece that can be hung on a picture hook, serving as a base for your knife collection. You can attach multiple "spine" pieces underneath the top piece, each capable of holding two shelves for folding knives. Two shelf sizes are available: one suitable for up to a Benchmade 940 and another ideal for knives like the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. While a Cold Steel AD-15 is slightly too large, most knives should fit. There are two bottom pieces, with one featuring a hole that helps secure the piece in place, preventing it from tilting due to uneven weight distribution when loaded with knives. Initially, I aimed to avoid using glue but ended up needing it to attach shelves to spines. This might necessitate redesigning the display for better structural integrity. Additionally, blue painter's tape was used on the back to hold spine pieces together temporarily while moving it to the wall; thicker pieces could potentially eliminate this need. This project is still a work in progress.
