Wall-mounted Clothes Hanger for Ironing

A Wall-mounted Clothes Hanger to put your ironed clothes before putting them back in the closet (or just leave em there, I'm not your mom). I've used this mount for about 3 months now, and I've probably put more wash on it than it should hold, but it's still going strong.

Bill of Materials

If the materials are not available where you're from, I've added the STEP file so you can tweak the models to fit your needs.

200mm x 15mm connection piece (2 per mount)

Couple of bolts, nuts, wall plugs and screws

A 16mm diameter rod. I've used a 1m long one, but a shorter was probably better.

Assembly / Printing notes

Don't be stingy with infill and parameters. There's a lot of Nm on those arms due to the distance the clothes need to hang from the wall, and clothes are heavy (shut up, I'm not fat, I'm big-boned!). Going overkill is probably better than going under.

I've noticed that if the bar is about half full with heavy XL sized winter clothes, it starts to bend dangerously.

License

CC-0.
