wall mountable remote cady for a TCL TV, Gen 2 Firestick, and Sony blu-ray player
thingiverse
Version 1 remote caddy for my three remotes in my bedroom features a TCL remote in the back slot, a Fire stick remote in the center, and a Sony remote in the front. Designed in Tinkercad, this project is yet to be printed. I will add pictures after receiving the printed model and verifying its fit. I am already thinking about making the screw holes more oblong and wide to accommodate 3M mounting hooks, allowing for wall mounting without screws or nails. On May 9, 2020, I discovered some artifacts while trying to print this design. I believe these are leftovers from Tinkercad. To resolve this issue, I will revisit the model and attempt to locate and remove these artifacts. One artifact is located on the outside of the model and causes a minor issue with filament waste, but it's not a significant problem. However, another artifact is situated in the back pocket where the TCL TV remote goes. This may have been caused by supports during printing, as I'm unsure why one was printed in the middle of a pocket. It appears that removing the supports will easily resolve this issue. Upon reviewing the model, it's likely possible to print without supports altogether. On May 12, 2020, I confirmed that the artifacts were indeed caused by supports. I removed them and resolved the issue. On May 28, 2020, I realized that the center cup needs to be slightly expanded to accommodate the Fire remote. I will update this model and upload a revised version.
