Wall Mountable Headphone Stand with hook
thingiverse
I needed a headphone stand that would free my headphones from among other clutters on my desk. Since the headphones are computer only, and I use wired earphones for other devices, these too need a place to be kept. Hence the design. There are two versions of the wall mountable part of the headphone. This is because, the v1 was designed with a single mounting point (I went with this version as I had a preexisting hole on my wall and I did not want to drill another one) and the version v2 has two mounting holes. Print either of the "wallmount" versions file and the top_half file. Stick the "top_half" to the "wallmount" as seen in picture. Using a strong glue is advised, even though there is very little force acting. I used two part epoxy glue/Araldite to stick the parts. The top surface of the "top_half" file would end up being rough and layered. If you are into to it and bothered by the layering do a bit of sanding starting from 100-120 grit to about 400. Start to wet sand at and above 320 for very smooth surface finish. Happy Printing
