Unfortunately I don't have any photos of this in use. Never bothered to take any. And I'm currently living elsewhere while the pandemic is going on. I have 3 of them mounted on my wall, just above my printers.

These were designed to fit a 60mm spool. I use Inland PLA+ from Microcenter, so it fits those spools. May fit others, and some it will be too small for. Been using these for several months, and there is no significant wear, other than surface scuffing from the spool rubbing on it, but that's normal. I may never have to replace these!

To use, just slip on your filament, and drop the retaining clip into the recess so the opening on the clip is facing straight down (means you have to mount the spool holder with the opening up). Drop the clip into place and you're good to go. That quick. It can't come out, no matter how fast or hard you spin the spool, so it's perfectly safe!

Print instructions

Print as oriented.

0.2mm layer height
0.4mm nozzle
PLA is sufficient
25% infill
