This shoe/sandal holder was originally designed to save space in our RV, but can be used anywhere. There are 2 parts: the mounting bracket, and the arm. The bracket spaces the pivot rod far enough out to put sandals or flip-flops behind it, doubling storage capacity.

The hole in the mounting bracket is designed to allow a 3/8" rod to move freely, and the arm is tight enough to require some force to insert the rod. This allows the arm to pivot on the bracket using friction fit or super glue to hold the rods in place.

I just measured the rods to be longer than our widest pair of shoes by about 2" and cut 3 pieces to the same length. (they were about 12" for us)

Just print 2 copies of each piece, and you're set! I did print this using a 0.8 nozzle, so there may be some difference in print sizing using smaller nozzles… I would use PETG with several perimeters and >15% infill for strength, but you can probably get away with PLA indoors.
