Wall mount rifle rack template

This is a template for making a rifle rack for storing long guns horizontally on a wall. I've make quite a few racks, and the dimensions of this are the summary of that experience. These dimensions will result in a rack that holds as many long guns as possible, yet is spaced out enough for easy access. Just start at the bottom of a 4" pine board (actual dimension 3.5"), mark the bottom one, then move the template up, for as many iterations as your wall will handle. Cut out the wood along the lines. Make 2 of them, then tie them together with a horizontal board at top and bottom, and attach the 2 horizontal boards to the wall STUDS. Use screws to assemble and mount - nails can pull out.
