My new cordless phone came with a subpar wall mount kit that functioned only from the main base station, leaving the satellite units without support. After conducting several measurements and test prints, I crafted an elegant wall mount kit that exceeds expectations. The satellite charger effortlessly slides into the top slot, held securely by gravity's gentle grasp. The power cord feeds seamlessly through a precisely drilled hole in the bottom of the mount. I brought my design to life using FreeCAD's robust toolset. Leveraging the draft and fillet features, I achieved a sleek and refined shape that snugly accommodates the provided base unit with precision. Such operations would have been daunting challenges in OpenSCAD.
