Wall Mount for Nintendo Switch Dock
thingiverse
This simple two-part design keeps USB ports open, allowing cords to run out the side of the mount. It's modeled specifically for Type K 3/4" wood screws, with screw holes countersunk for 10mm flat head screws. Questions, comments, or suggestions? Feel free to reach out! I printed at a .1 layer height and 20% grid infill. However, you can definitely produce it at lower resolutions or infill if needed. ### Mount Installation: 1. Draw a line where you'd like the top or bottom of your Switch to sit. 2. Place the mount pieces on both sides of the dock and position it on the line. 3. Trace the left and right edges of the mount. 4. Remove the mount from the dock and realign it in the mounting area. 5. Mark the screw hole on the mounting area. 6. Follow the steps for drilling and screwing into the substrate in the mounting area. ### Dock Install: 1. Mount both sides of the mount before placing the dock. 2. Thread your cables through the right bracket of the mount, attaching them to the dock. (Image 3) 3. Rotate the left mount slightly to get the dock sitting into the right bracket. (Image 4) This usually causes the left bracket to come into place, but there's a bit of play so you may need to rotate the left bracket all the way into place. (Image 5) **Note:** It's a tight fit, but you'll get it in there! Don't download this design with the intention of selling it for profit. I've already found sellers on eBay who are doing just that. This is not a product for resale, and adding your own logo without crediting the original post is plagiarism.
