Designed a wall mount/shelf for the Valve Knuckles/Index charging stand by kni8_2k onThingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3160344). You attach the two together with superglue or double sided carpet tape. Holds together pretty well with the tape but for extra security I'd still use a couple dots of super glue. This way the halves might be separated easier in order to replace a USB cable without requiring a full reprint.

Still: MAKE SURE THE USB CONNECTORS ARE WELL SEATED BEFORE GLUING

There's a chance that the bond can still be permanent. I see no other way to join the parts and maintain print-ability. I'm open to suggestions.

The cords can be routed down behind the mount through the groove in the back. The bracket is to be secured to the wall with screw in drywall anchors. Given the lightness of the controllers and the prints, I am confident this is secure. Just don't go leaning on it. Use of magnetic connectors should mean just placing them in the stand is all you need. Maybe support with your hand if you use the stock cables.

Untested second attachment option:

Also uploaded are variants to allow for M4 screws to secure the mount to the stand. Since this is untested, a test block STL is included to use to test M4 tolerances with your printer before doing the full prints. If the screw goes in tight without incident you should be good to go.

I also used these magnetic cables: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0772QDGJ4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tv-auto-20

I have designed spacers for these cables since they sit too low and as such can slide down and cause a loss of a solid connection for charging and/or firmware updates. The easiest way to insert it is with tweezers/pliers,forceps. Use them to wedge it in the back of the hole flush with the top of the hole. Then insert the usb wire through the front slot and use the connector itself it to pull it down into the hole. You should end up with the connector flush with the front of the hole (see pictures). If the fit is off due to variances in connectors and/or printers just scale in the z direction. Mine worked first try but your tolerances my vary a bit.

Print instructions

Layer height of your choosing. At least 4 perimeters. Can be printed in any plastic including PLA. The stand will require supports everywhere.
