Wall mount for Anker SoundCore Sport XL Speaker
thingiverse
My buddy is setting up a home theater and needed a way to secure a Bluetooth speaker to his wall. I decided to learn Sketchup by modeling these brackets for wall mounting. UPDATE: I've added raw Sketchup files - one with the brackets properly spaced apart, another just featuring the brackets. UPDATE 2: I've also included files for V2 design, which boasts taller sidewalls for a snugger fit and added triangles for added support to prevent bending or breaking under load. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: at least 20% Notes: You might want to orient them with the walls touching the build plate so that the layers themselves support the weight of the speaker, not layer adhesion (see photo). Post-Printing: Mounting Use the existing countersunk holes to screw the two brackets to the wall. Make sure there's a 4-inch gap between the two brackets. How I Designed This This was my first time using Sketchup - don't judge me harshly!
