Wall holder for Veritas Cabinetmaker's Trimming Plane
thingiverse
I like having my tools organized on a wall in my workshop, so I designed this wall mount holder for my Veritas Cabinetmaker's Trimming Plane, also known as a chisel plane. It features an angled design of 15 degrees, ensuring the plane sits securely and remains in place without relying on magnets or other attachments. The holder includes two screw holes for attaching it to the plywood wall using Kreg 3/4" pocket hole screws. I'd like to clarify that I have no affiliation with Veritas, beyond purchasing their products; therefore, if this holder transforms into a monster lizard and eats your neighbors after printing with nuclear filament, you will be solely responsible. **Printing Instructions** This model was printed using PLA with a 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill settings. When preparing for printing, rotate the model by 15 degrees in your slicer to ensure it lies flat on the build bed. As no supports are required, this model fits perfectly with these printing conditions. If you use ABS or another material that shrinks significantly, consider scaling up the model slightly to achieve optimal results.
